Review: benefit high beam
It's one of the popular highlighters in market. mine one is a sample size from the "benefit Do the Bright Thing Best & Brightest Total Face Makeup Kit".
Packaging :
It has a glass bottle with a nailpolish like brush applicator.
Product description :
It is a liquid highlighter, pearly white with slight hints of pink.
Application :
I apply 4-5 drops over each side of my cheek bones with its brush applicator. Then blend with my index finger.
My experience :
It has subtel shimmer which gives a nice natural glow from within. It doesn't set on top of your skin rather it blends seamlessly. It is very good for day time use. As it is a pearly white highlighter, it may look more obvious in medium or dark skin toned girl but it looks very natural in fair to light skin.
If you are looking for a natural looking subtel highlighter, then it's for you. But if you are looking for a shimmery, glamorous highlighter then this one is not that type.
Amount of product :
Full size: 13 ml 0.45 US fl oz
Delux sample size: 2.5 g Net wt. 0.09 oz.
Cost :
Full size: 26 $
Delux sample size: 8 $
Availability :
I bought mine from a face book page "NV cosmetic".
You can also buy from benefit's website.
Pros :
1. Natural looking with subtel shimmer.
2. Suitable for day time use.
Cons :
1. Expensive.
2. Don't give highly shimmery effect.
3. Not suitable for dark skin tone.
Do I recommend :
If you are fair to light skin girl and looking for a natural looking subtel highlighter then give it a try, you will like it.
Medium skin toned girl may work with it. But if you have dark skin then don't go for it.
If you are looking for a shimmery, glamorous highlighter, this one is not for that purpose.
Will I repurchase :
Yes, ofcourse. Next time i'll buy the full size.
