Review: theBalm Balmsai Eyeshadow Palette

My preferred travel eyeshadow palette is theBalm's BALMSAI eyeshadow palette. Very nice selection of colors with different finishes. But does it worth to try?

Packaging :

theBalm packaging is one of the cutest packaging in beauty world. Though it is a large palette, it's thin. Also has a large mirror.

Product description :

This palette includes 18 shades and 2 stencils. One is brow guide/shadow fallout guard stencil and the other is cat eye stencil by which you can create cat eye looks. I never used those. Even lost one of these two.

The color selection is so great that you can create any look with this palette only. It has neutral colors, dark smokey colors, even bright fun colors with different finishes. It contains matte and shimerry shades. Also has a black matte, crease color, transition color, highlighting shade and brow shadows. That's why it's my travel eyeshadow palette. I can travel only with this single eyeshadow palette.

My experience :

No, it's unexpected from theBalm eyeshadow. Some colors are chalky. Pigmentation is poor white applied with brushes. If swatched with finger, it's okey. You need to rub the brush hard over the bright fun colors to achieve the exact colors. I'm very disappointed about it's pigmentation.

Cost :

In US : 39.5 $

Availability :

I purchased it from amazon.

You can also purchase online from theBalm's website.

For Bangladeshi people, you can pre-order it through facebook pages that take US orders.

At Gotimoy.com you will get it at lowest price as they are the authorized dealer of theBalm in Bangladesh.

Pros :
1. Great for travel. You can travel only with this single eyeshadow palette to create any kinda look.
2. Can create neutral look, dark smokey look, bright summer look using just a single palette.
3. It has different finishes.
4. It has brow powder.
Cons :
1. Some shades are chalky.
2. Poor pigmentation.
3. Difficult to achieve the exact colors.
4. Expensive.
Do I recommend :

If you want a travel palette and you are not concerned about quality, can give it a try.

But if pigmentation is your only concern, it's not for you.

Will I repurchase :

No.

Have you tried it? Let me know your opinion?
